Embassy theater presents "The Scarlet Letter" - a unique journey of organ music - in a live format of loud sounds of a traditional theater organ broadcasting in the hall to an audience of appreciative art lovers enjoying a lasting artistic form of entertainment of the golden artistic era.
For the Fort Wayne live organ music lover, Fort Wayne's own Cletus Goens is the master artist at work on the theater organ for this Embassy theater show. "The Scarlet Letter" is the title of this special program of brilliant organ music and Goens' library of music is vast to include a traditional film score, popular song of the past as well as much more. He has played in venues all across this country and brings to every performance the highest level of his musical ability to entertain his audience. He truly is one of the few masters of live theater organ music today. For "The Scarlet Letter" organ program at the Embassy theater, Cletus will be playing the Embassy's own Wurlitzer, The huge pipe organ that is the theater organ, has many ranks of pipes and the organist must have great dexterity and musical ability to be able to play the organ. The sounds that are produced by the theater organ are vast and include the quietest of whispers as well as the loudest and most powerful of thunderous organ notes.
The Embassy theatre is a historic downtown Fort Wayne theater which is one of the few left that regularly hosts performances such as the live organ music show.
